This Mum Can Fitness comes to Altrincham
Update Sessions started on the 4th January. Have a look below at Becca and some of the mums enjoyng a sunny winter's morning in Stamford Park!
Becca Broadbent knows all about how difficult it can be to get back in shape after having a baby as she’s done it twice. It was after her second baby that she decided to qualify as a personal trainer and set up This Mum Can Fitness. Training sessions take place at the same time and place every week and the idea is that you bring the baby along with you in their pram or buggy. Sessions take place in local parks. Becca has had great success with this model in parks in Sale and Urmston this year and now she is coming to Altrincham.
Classes will start on Wednesday the 4th January and will take place at that time every week in Stamford Park. Becca says ‘We’ll do an hour’s workout together - I try to do a different class every week so you don’t get bored doing the same things every time! All exercises can be modified to anyone's ability so please don’t be worried about coming down’
Becca knows it can be lonely being a new mum and that sometimes getting out can seem an effort. The whole ethos of her sessions is about getting active and meeting new friends. She is keen to stress that although it is a great workout, it's not a ‘full-on bootcamp’! Do not be intimidated! You don’t need any trendy kit - just a good pair of trainers and a decent sports bra - oh, and a rain cover for your pram. We are in Manchester after all and you never know what the weather’s going to do!
More details about Becca and the company are on her website here. There's a FAQ page on the site which may answer any questions that you have but if you have any others get in touch in touch with Becca.
