Social Sugar

A sweeter type of networking that rips up the rule book!.

Lara Kroll knows a lot about neworking and she doesn't always like what she sees. She has decided to launch a new type of networking in Altrincham with the first event taking place on the 23rd February at Sugar Junction on Stamford New Road.

Lara writes,

‘Does the idea of networking make you feel anxious or panicky? What do you say? Who do you speak to? Coupling this with the pressure of making the right impression just makes the networking process even more daunting for most of us. Social Sugar is about to rip up the rule book and promises to ‘sweeten’ the entire networking process; by offering local businesses the opportunity to mingle at an informal evening event with guest speakers, cocktails and cake!’

Social Sugar is the brainchild of Lara herself, local business woman, MD of Evolved Online, social media and PR expert and experienced global networker. She has teamed up with an impressive group of professionals to provide an exciting monthly event programme.

Social Sugar launches on Thursday February 23 from 6.00 to 8.00 p.m, in the comfort of quirky Altrincham ‘speakeasy’ Sugar Junction.  Spaces are limited, and so early registration for your company to attend is recommended. Each event is entirely free, with no fees required and no rules! All you need to bring is a pack of business cards – and a smile.

Launch night guest speakers include Susan Dolan, leading Google expert and the event will be hosted Lara herself.  Talks will include how to optimize your social channels and the fast moving digital marketing world.

Over the coming months, Social Sugar will be welcoming various guest speakers including: Natalie B (Heart FM North West Presenter), Jaw Digital SEO specialists, Nettl of Altrincham Printers, Richard Silverman PT and Lambing Shed Butcher, and Catherine Hebb MD of Runway Pilates.
