A gathering of Hale women recently enjoyed Afternoon Tea at Victor’s Eatery, Hale hosted by the Mayor of the Borough of Trafford, Councillor Judith Lloyd and the Mayoress Ms Noelle Ryder. The guests who included residents, local business owners and even Magali Gorre, of Real Housewives of Cheshire fame,  tucked into an afternoon tea that was beautiful as well as delicious all served by Victor's lovely staff.

The amazing raffle prizes were donated by local businesses including Edit Boutique and Terence Paul Hairdressers and helped to raise £620 for the Mayor’s charities, the Stroke Association and Trafford Domestic Abuse Services.

The Mayor reminded guests that it is not only elderly people who suffer from strokes but that young people can be affected too. Councillor Lloyd also outlined the work of Trafford Domestic Abuse Services including their excellent work in schools, educating young people about healthy relationships.
